The material textile is essential in my works. Textile reveals emotions which are strongly connected to my own life and the human body itself. In my pieces I use textile in a direct way or I communicate the idea of its versatile language throughout another material.
It can be the surrounding which inspires me. The pure beauty of a place. The stories which are told. The overwhelming wallpaper in a room. The wall covered layer over layer by different stories. To be surrounded by flowery patterns which appear to me as textile.
A withering beauty combined with found fragments which I would like to bring back to life. Am I in a „Roman á l´eau the rose“?
